OMG $2~!

So, a while back, I got an e-mail saying that someone bought something from my cafepress shop. I looked to see who it was- but at the time, their system wasn't synched so it didn't show up.

I forgot about it. Until today. I went an' looked.

And, gasp, it was someone I DIDN'T KNOW~! Wow!

Somebody in Great Britain, looks like. Possibly under my mother's/sister's influence...but I don't mind. I made 2.31$. Well, when it clears in 15 days.

It inspired me to draw another thing. Which, I call the Atrocity.

See?

Now available in Ringer T. >.>

I figure, I should draw/add a product every time someone buys something.

Kate made money on art! >.>

The ring is still flashing.

Still flashing! Vistadeath and schooloutcoming.

Has been for seven days naw.

Karl and I went out for Chinese after our last Game Design class (only the final left, naw!) And then, predictably, went to his place for some light gaming, some computer fun, and sock wars.

I uninstalled Vista on my laptop and had to troubleshoot reinstalling XP on it, (it didn't like the drivers...) and even now haven't gotten it up 100%- but it's coming along. I named it SUPARLAPPY, because it's far superior to the Vista version. Vista eats RAM for breakfast, lunch, teatime -and- dinner.

Tomorrow is technically the final class day of the semester! This upcoming week will be finals- of which I have at least two, and maybe three. (One class, if you have a B+ or higher, not taking the final doesn't affect your grade...I think I had a low A a few weeks ago...so we'll see.)

Almost seasonal freedom!

Flashy lights and IHop.

I feel better today. I was sulking yesterday over the failure of THE GIFT. I was frantically talking with one his friends, Justin, over AIM, sounding out gift ideas when Karl texted me while at work, since it was slow and he felt bad that I was upset. (I mentioned why I was sulking before he had to head off to work.)

From his text, I decided, since I wasn't too pleased about THE GIFT affair, that I'd inquire as to his exhaustion level...and then propose going to the WaffleHouse when he got off work. (At midnight.)

He happily accepted my proposition- and I met him at 12ish, and we discovered that neither of us knew where to nearest WaffleHouse was. So, we settled for IHop!

Karl bought me pancakes, and had himself a breakfasty thing, and we talked. And I revealed THE GIFT. I was going to get him a museum quality replica of Mal's Brown Coat from the show Firefly. Penny/Kith! If you has not seen it- YOU SO TOTALLY SHOULD.

Anyway, Karl's a big fanboy. So it was perfect. All his friends agreed that it was perfect. But, apparently, the manufacturer's license to make it was up just in time for when I ordered it. :/

ANYWAY.

I was going to talk about how much fun I had last night with the IHop whatsit. What with me and my sugared water, and when I drove him back to the parking lot where his car was parked from work- it was really quiet, little traffic, and it smelled like rain and was nicely lit by the parking lot lights and a clear sky above. It felt like one of those cheesy romance movies, and Karl acted the part without even knowing it. <3

<3 <3

We'll have to do the silly midnight thing again, because we didn't actually go to the WaffleHouse, and I've never been to one.

On a side note, the flashing ring-pop candy Penny sent me...I consumed it five days ago. I pulled out the little tab at 7pmish to make it flash- it read 'May flash for two hours.'

It's been flashing ever since.

Five days and counting.

Something Epic had better happen...

Soon, because Misfortune is certainly getting his digs in.

Furnace, garage door, computer, lack of a key for all the deadbolts in the house, Wii, Brake light on car, bill that technically belongs to the previous owners, and, worst of all, the gift that I preordered for Karl that was GOING TO BE FUCKING EPIC and I have been waiting here for a month to hear from them- has just been canceled for production. They'd better get my money back soon. Now I have to think of something else.

Kate cried. And is trying not to think about it before she cries again.

Magazines!

So, I caught up on canceling all the magazines the previous residents were subscribed to. (I decided that Sundays should be my Get Stuff Done day.)

Here's my list of magazines and how long it took to unsubscribe:

1-800-Flowers.com: 5 minutes, 6 seconds.
J.C. Penny: 6 minutes, 51 seconds.
Van Dyke's Restorers: 4 minutes, 47 seconds.
Coldwater Creek: 50 seconds.
Monteray Bay: 2 minutes 44 seconds.
Potterybarn Baby: 1 minute, 45 seconds.
Footsmart: 1 minutes, 44 seconds.
Family Christian Stores: 2 minutes, 9 seconds.
Sears Home Center: 1 minute, 47 seconds.
Brownstone Studio: 3 minutes, 28 seconds.
Dillard's: 1 minute, 47 seconds.
Toys R Us: 1 minutes 58 seconds.
L.L. Bean's Women, Home, and Outdoor : 1 minute, 33 seconds.

That's...15 magazines and 34 minutes and 44 seconds of my life wasted.

The neighbor left brownies at my house yesterday. I'mma meet them today and return the plate.

Karl and I finished our big Game Design programming assignment yesterday- step 70 was go out and get ourselves a 6 pack of our legal beverage of choice. So we went to Michael's (to get me some paint and his friend a new sketchbook,) and then Walmart, to get IBC rootbeer and Strawberry Crush in glass bottles. When we got home, we cuddled on the couch drinking our sodas and talked- and noticed that we had two laptops and a PC set up in front of us- exemplifying our geekiness. It was fun. We made a few rules: Only one bottle per person per visit (so we won't finish the drinks for another five times I'm over there at least,) and we have to sit and do nothing but talk and cuddle when we drink them. ^.^ <3 <3 <3 <3

Oh, and earlier that day, we went to visit Nick, since my Wii is borked. (It plays sound, but no video,) and I wanted to check if it was the composite cables- and Nick's the only other person I know that I can check the cables on. It turns out it really is the Wii- and I have to send it in for repairs- which will cost me because I'm no longer under warranty. T_T

After ascertaining that, we played Rock Band. It was fun~! Nick was on guitar, his brother Tim on Bass, I started out on Drums at my insistence, leaving Karl with the mic.....poor Karl. He..kinda can't sing. >.> I switched with him and sang a few songs I knew, then Karl picked a song I did not know- and while we still passed the song...it was awful. My voice hurt after a while, and the long notes made me dizzy- but it was amusing. I'm glad I'm not the one who bought it though, it's fun, but not my thing.

I've scheduled my dentist appointment for May 19th. Then I have wisdom teeth getting yanked on June 2nd. Karl already said he'd drive me home after. <3 I'm not looking forward to it.

I have to go find the x-rays in my moved-pile of stuff for the dentist's, and while I'm at it, figure out where I put my DDR mats. :/

Nuffin' else to say, naw.
